FAQ’s - Wildflower Wednesdays

If we haven’t answered your question below, please feel free to contact us and we will get back to you as soon.

Can I order for a different date?

We offer our bouquet pre-orders for delivery or pickup on Wednesdays only! Our native bouquets stay fresh for 1-2 weeks. If you require the flowers for a later date, you can still order for delivery or pickup on Wednesday, as our flowers remain fresh for up to 3 days in the wrapping, and 1-2 weeks in fresh water. You can unwrap your bouquet, or upgrade your order to include a vase and increase its lifespan by placing the stems directly in fresh water.

When do I need to place my order?

Orders for the upcoming Wednesday need to be placed before 11.59pm every Monday. If you order after this time, you will need to order for the following week.

Can I select the flower types or colours?

We only use locally grown and Australian flowers and select these depending on what is fresh, in-season, and most of all, what we find beautiful at the flower market that day. Specific flower types or colours cannot be guaranteed, but you can use our Seasonal Flower Calendar as a guide, or view the example images on our “shop” page to get an idea of our signature design style and sizing.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver within 20km of our South Lake home studio, in the Perth South-Metro area for a flat rate of $20. Please see our list of delivery suburbs HERE.

What if my suburb isn’t listed?

If your suburb is not listed within our 20km radius, it is likely too far from our home studio for delivery. We recommend choosing another address within our listed suburbs, opting for pickup or finding a florist in your local area. If you place an order for delivery to a suburb that is not listed within our 20km radius, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

When will my flowers be delivered?

Our courier collects your bouquet fresh from our home studio at 7am every Wednesday, and aims to have all orders delivered between 7.30am-4pm, with most orders arriving in the morning. We will do our best to accommodate time requests; however, we cannot always guarantee a timed delivery. Please put all requests in the “special delivery instructions” section of your order.

What if the recipient isn’t home?

If the recipient isn’t home, we’ll do our best to find a discreet and safe spot to leave the flowers and a photo confirmation will be captured. If there is not a suitable place to leave the order, or there is no access to the property, our driver will attempt to make contact with the recipient with a waiting period of 5 minutes before marking the order un-deliverable. Before you place an order, please consider if there is a safe place for the flowers to be left and whether your recipient will be available to collect the delivery within a reasonable timeframe.
Please note: If the flowers are un-deliverable, the Sender will be charged a re-delivery fee to have their item redelivered or redirected to an alternative address on another date.

When and where can I pick up?

Every Wednesday, we have two main collection time-slots in the AM (7.30am-9.00am) or PM (5.00pm-6.30pm). You can select your time preference when placing your order. We will send our home studio address (South Lake) with your order confirmation email. If these time slots do not work for you, please let us know in the “alternative pick-up time request” section of your order, however, this is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

How long will the flowers last?

Our native bunches stay fresh for 1-2 weeks. We use a 100% compostable hydro-wrap with our gift wrapping. We recommend leaving your bouquet in the wrapping for no longer than 3 days, as natives are thirsty and will drain the water reservoir quickly. We provide a detailed care-tips card with every order. Regularly cleaning your vase and refreshing with fresh water, along with re-cutting the stems on an angle every 2-3 days, and removing spent stems will increase the longevity of your arrangement!

Can I dry out my flowers?

Yes, you can very easily and naturally dry native flowers to keep and enjoy for years to come! Dried native flowers can last between 3-5 years, sometimes longer, with the correct care. Please visit our How to Dry Your Bouquet page for more information and tips!
